I got a gold from the first mob of ettins, and my friend got 3 purples from a group of 4.

Its taking me about 4 runs to get a 1 gold.

I haven't farmed ettins in over 2 weeks so loot drop isn't at work here. At my seed on my war its so bad.

Go and see right now for yourself. Don't go saying you got all these golds and purple the other day. The up date was just yesterday and late in the day at that. The ettins are nerfed and you have noone but yourselves to blame. Also now they have increased the odds of getting vigors and absorbtion and gold armor alway gives sup runes, purple = major and blue = minor. From now on.

HA HA HA HA HA HA.

I don't see what's funny. It took about 4 runs to get a sup rune with the old system. Nothing has really changed. Intead of giving us a huge ammount of golds that turn out to be majors it gives us the runes straight up.

What this does kill is the people selling the pouldrons unided. Sorry guys all good things must come to an end.

my friend just got sup smite and sup absorb in an hour, due to gold armour always being superior now and the increased drop rates of sup absorb.

one very strange bug tho, i got a "rare armour" from some undead, id it, and it was just called "armour", it wasnt a rune, it salvaged to 6 tanned hides, very weird, pissed me off bigtime

errm well this morning I was getting nothing and tonight I got 6 in less than an hour (sups that is) - I dont ID, I let my guildies unlock (I only have 1sup left to unlock so no use wasting them).

When people tell how many drops they get in an hour you should list if you are using the prize winning hoggy quest.

I am not so its harder for me to get the drops.

Meh.. I've gotten the same recently. Of some 10 or so runs, I've only gotten 2-3 minor runes, and a major soul reaping.

EDIT: Good to know its been fixed since then! Off to beetlun!

My friend farmed purples and golds until his inventory was full (maybe an hour), and got two sup absorptions, one of every sup monk rune, and a few necromancer ones. I got two sup monks in the same run.

When I farmed after the patch for 2 hours, I got 1 gold (sup water) and 1 purp (major sword). That was it.

It's been fixed. Drops are (somewhat) back to normal. Gold armor drops are now all superior runes. Note: not more superiors, just fewer golds. However, official word is there will be MORE superior vigors and absorbtions. Guess the price will drop on those soon.

Don't mistake fixed with less people farming at that moment. Everyone was in a hurry to get to cantha and now alot of the farmers that kept the drop rates down have moved on to cantha. This means less people farming that spot which means slightly better drop rates. Yes MORE vigor and absorbtion which mean those that don't farm won't have to to get one.

I'm so enjoying this.

I've completed that quest long time ago and it didn't effected the ettis farming.

No offense, but I'm kind of surprised you guys don't know...

I always check GuildWiki after every update, and here's what it said about Ettins after the Tuesday update:

"Gypsie Ettins have retrained themselves using lighter armor, thus not dropping as many rune-infused items anymore."

Do y'all get this clearly? GYPSIE ETTINS seem to have been NERFED! Or "Fixed" if you will. No more easy sup rune farming in Nebo Terrace.
